Jim Cooper on Horsham YMCA, Phil Ruggles and a trip to sittingbourne. 13 Mar 2010
"When I look at the last two games, we've picked up one point from a possible six however it could so easily been all six.
With a bit more desire we would be pushing the teams in the top six but you need a bit of luck and we certainly didn't get that.
Horsham are a very good side, lively up front with a good young team behind them. We were very poor in the 1st half and once the players were informed at half-time, I thought the 2nd half was ok.
We created chances, hit the post 3 times and the bar once. Horsham had their moments and it was a very good 0-0 in the end.
We just need to be a bit better in front of goal. That's why I've added Phil Ruggles to the squad. Phil joins us from Bromley, a goalscorer at all levels and a good player. It gives us an added bite up front, we all welcome Phil and hope he does well for us.
We now face a trip to Sittingbourne. A very difficult place to go, Sittingbourne are going well and looking to build on last season. We need a good performance, nothing less will be good enough".
